Former Prime Minister, John Howard Awards Wharton Pastoral for Outstanding Agriculture Fund Management

On 11 November 2019,  the 3rd Sino-Australian Entrepreneurs Summit (SAES), which was hosted by Sino International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) and organised by Australian Financial News (AFN), commenced in ASX. Former Australian prime minister Hon John Howard, Former Australian minister of trade and investment Andrew Robb, and CFO of the Australian Securities Exchange Gillian Larkins attended the summit. 

After the all-day summit, former Australian prime minister Hon John Howard, Chinese Consulate Commercial and Economic Counsellor Wang Hongbo and Chair of Australia China Council Warwick Smith attended the 3rd AFN Award Gala Dinner. Wharton Pastoral Management (the Agri Management arm of Wharton Capital Limited) was delighted to win the prestigious “Outstanding Agriculture Fund Management Awards”. This award was presented to us by former Prime Minister, the Hon Mr John Howard. Our Managing Director David Liu commented “We are truly honoured to receive this Award which is a vindication of our confidence and support for the Australian Beef industry and of Western Australia”.
